Season 1 Ending Recap
A t the end of season 1, Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, and Nobara Kugisaki were tasked with investigating a string of mysterious deaths at Megumi's previous school. Though Megumi initially wanted to handle the mission solo, Yuji and Nobara joined him. After discovering the cursed domain responsible for the deaths, they were attacked by a new enemy and it casuing strange happening and forced out of the domain before they could resolve the situation.
As Megumi was left to fend for himself in the domain, He faced a special-grade cursed spirit alone in the cursed domain, eventually he managed to defeat it and obtained one of Sukuna's fingers. Meanwhile, Yuji and Nobara fought against the cursed womb brothers, Eso and Kechizu, in a fierce and intense battle, which they ultimately won.

The demise of the cursed womb brothers sparked the fury of their older brother, Choso,( who had a brief appearance in JJK Season 1). He's character will have a significant role in the upcoming Season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen.
Meanwhile , we witnessed Sukuna secretly consuming the finger that Megumi retrieved by defeating the powerful cursed spirit. Shortly afterwards, the first season ends with sorcerers Mei Mei and Aoi Todo meeting with Principal Gakuganji to propose the promotion of our three main characters (Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara), along with Maki and Panda, to the prestigious rank of Grade 1 sorcerers.

T he second part of Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 will pick up where the first part left off, but will soon changeover to Gojo's backstory. The upcoming season will cover manga volumes 8 and 9, which Viz Media has described as follows:
"Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto are given the task of safeguarding the Star Plasma Vessel and bringing it to Master Tengen. In season 2, back in time to 2006 when Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto were second-year students at Tokyo Jujutsu High. As mentioned earlier, we'll witness Master Tengen assigning them a high-level mission: to safely escort Riko Amanai, a girl who is the next vessel of the Star Plasma and has a bounty on her head, back to school.
